If you're using Google Chrome as a web browser it can take up a lot of RAM memory.
A small tip that can help is closing the tasks that Google Chrome has opened.
Simply open Task Manager in Windows, click on the Processes tab and click End Task
This also applies to background processes, but...be careful not to end task any Microsoft system related processes as it could damage the computer. Those processes usually have gear icons.
You can also monitor how much RAM you're using in Task Manager
Simply click on the Performance tab
